Booking Terms and Conditions

T&C’s – Bed and Breakfast

The Reservation forms a legal contract between The Ram Inn, Firle and the Guest for provision of and payment for accommodation as detailed. Reservations are made and accepted on the following terms:

Accommodation offered

The Ram undertakes to supply the accommodation reserved on a bed and breakfast basis for the price given. Alterations, other than a free upgrade, will not be made without the approval of the person booking. The Ram reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation considered inappropriate.

Upon booking accommodation with us we will ask for your credit/debit card for full payment of the booking to secure the reservation.

For larger groups our cancellation policy may be different, we will confirm this in writing. We advise guests to check their travel insurance if there is a possibility of their trip being cancelled or postponed

Corporate booking and Authorisation

When a room is being paid for by a company or an individual on behalf of the guest or guests staying, we require written confirmation, that this transaction and any supplementary charges are approved by the company or individual, before a booking can be confirmed

Upon arrival the guest will need to provide their own personal contact details, full address, email and phone number for fire and safety regulations.

Check-In and Departures

The deadline for letting us know about an earlier than expected departure and avoiding cancellation charges is 2pm on the day prior to the scheduled checkout.

Guests rooms are available for check in after 3pm. Please note that there is no check-in service available after 11.00pm, therefore you will be unable to check in after this time and will be assumed a no show

Check out

The check our time for each room is 11am. The key and balance of charges on your account will be paid on departure.

Registration

You will be required to provide us with your home address for guest registration purposes. If you are a non EU National we may ask to see your passport. For all guests we reserve the right to ask you to confirm your identity with a driver’s license or other form of photographic ID. By making the booking you are agreeing to the room type, rate and booking terms and conditions

Dinner reservations

The pub is very popular particularly at weekends. It is our policy not to hold back tables specifically for residents. We therefore advise booking your table as far in advance as possible to secure

Bar

Our bar is open until 11pm. We do not keep the bar open later for residents

Breakfast Service

Breakfast is served daily Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 11.30am

Breakfast Room Service is not available.

Children

We welcome guests with children, but our pub may not be suitable for families wishing to spend a great deal of time in the public areas as there is no lounge area for children, and the bar area is over 18’s. We ask throughout the restaurant they remain seated and supervised at all times

Code of conduct

The Ram is a small family run Inn. We place great emphasis on providing a safe, friendly, pleasurable environment for guests and staff alike. Therefore, we will ask any guest who is abusive, threatening, or offensive to leave the hotel immediately and they will incur early departure charges. Other reasons for eviction may include foul language, drunken behaviour, use of banned substances and theft

Non residents

For fire safety reasons and out of respect to our other guests we do not allow non-registered guests to enter hotel bedrooms without prior permission from the Duty Manager

Damages and Theft

We reserve the right to invoice guests for any damages, accidental or otherwise to our premises. Any items of hotel property removed unlawfully from the bedrooms or elsewhere will be invoiced and the police will be contacted

Hotel Keys

A charge of £10 will be made for any lost or stolen keys

No Smoking

All our bedrooms, corridors and public areas are strictly non-smoking. Please note that if on departure we discover that you or any of your party has smoked in your room we reserve the right to charge you up to one night’s accommodation to compensate for loss of business, whilst the room is unable to be used due to airing or specialist cleaning. If we find you are smoking you will be asked to leave immediately

Dog Friendly

Throughout our Pub and Restaurant well behaved dogs are allowed, and for a small daily fee your dog is welcome to stay with you in your room. Please refer to the website for details

Food in rooms

We currently do not offer room service, therefore no hot or cold “take-away” food is allowed in the rooms during your stay

Offers cannot be applied to existing bookings.

Payment Policy

Upon booking accommodation with us we will ask for your credit/debit card for full payment of the booking to secure the reservation.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel the reservation for any reason, please notify us in writing (by letter or email) as soon as possible. We will do our best to re-let the room, however if we cannot then the full room rate will apply. If we are successful in re-letting the room we will charge you a 20% administration fee and refund the difference. We advise guests to check their travel insurance if there is a possibility of their trip being cancelled
